Save the date! ACRA-Qld professional development opportunities for 2017

The ACRA-Qld EMC is once again planning to bring you a range of professional development opportunities in 2017.

EVENING WORKSHOP AND DINNER (May 5th)

We  are currently planning an evening workshop and dinner to take place during Heart Week, at 5:30pm on Friday the 5th May. This will have a practical, hands-on approach but will hopefully also be recorded for later viewing.  It will also be a great opportunity to socialise with other ACRA-Qld members over dinner and drinks after the workshop.  We are currently finalising content and would love to hear from you via email if you have any suggestions about what you would like included in the evening.

More details to follow shortly.

ANNUAL ONE-DAY SYMPOSIUM (October 20th)

We will also once again be running our popular one-day symposium (with off-site videoconferencing) on Friday the 20th October.  This year the event will be held at the Gold Coast University Hospital, so why not plan a weekend away to coincide with the event!

This event will feature a mixture of invited speakers, clinical and research topics, and plenty of networking opportunities. Once again we hope to offer concurrent sessions for special interest streams. New this year will also be our members forum: a 15-20 minutes session where you, the members, can take to the floor and share with the EMC and broader membership any issues you may currently have with the association, or cardiac rehabilitation practices.

We are also looking for input from you to make our professional development events useful and engaging.  Let us know the themes, content, and speakers you would like to see this year via email at qcra@acra.net.au
